One of the world’s most ethereally beautiful nations is the United States of America. Vibrant cities, wonderful landscapes, fantastic road trips, amazing wildlife, and stunning beaches are just a few of the outstanding things it provides its tourists.
The exciting metropolis of New York City and San Francisco, the pristine wildness of Alaska, the breathtaking beauty of the Hawaiian islands, and the breathtaking scenery of the National Parks in the West are my top vacation destinations in the United States.
The Fourth of July, a national holiday observed tomorrow, honours the Declaration of Independence, which was made on July 4, 1776, when thirteen American colonies declared their independence from the British Empire. A list of the top ten luxury hotels in the USA, one of my favourite vacation locations, would be appropriate for Independence Day.
1. San Francisco’s CAVALLO POINT LODGE
Minutes from San Francisco, award-winning Cavallo Point, housed in a former USA army station near the Golden Gate Bridge, provides one of the most sought-after stays on the West Coast. The lodge’s façade has been exquisitely restored, maintaining the historic style of Fort Baker. Many of its 142 vintage and modern rooms provide expansive views of the bridge, the city skyline, and San Francisco Bay. The Murray Circle restaurant’s Northern Californian cuisine makes the lodge a popular dining destination, and its small cooking school offers a constantly rotating class schedule. Enjoy a variety of massages, facials, healing arts therapies, and more at the spa. Families will love the lodge’s dog-friendly accommodations and miles of hiking paths in national parklands.
2. Florida Keys, Little Palm Island
The closest thing to a five-star hotel experience on a private island in the mainland United States is Little Palm Island. This adults-only resort in the Florida Keys, which is only reachable by boat or seaplane, is a remote realm of lush tropical gardens, crushed seashell walkways, and thirty thatched roof bungalows that pay meticulous homage to old world custom while drawing inspiration from British West Indies architecture. Exotic allure evocative of a Balinese retreat is delivered by thoughtful facilities. The rustling of leaves in the air, the sound of nearby birds and tree frogs, and the lap of the ocean waves serve as the resort’s soundtrack without the use of phones or televisions. The world-class restaurant and spa, lounge chairs on the little beach, and hammocks affixed to the palm trees are where many spend their days.
3. BIG SUR, CA’S POST RANCH INN
Situated 400 meters (1200 feet) above the Pacific Ocean on the cliffs of Big Sur, Post Ranch Inn is one of the most prominent luxury hotels in the United States and a haven for the soul. One of the most picturesque routes in the world, the Californian Highway connects San Francisco and Los Angeles, where the rustic refuge is situated. The 40 rooms combine rustic elegance, comfort, and seclusion with expansive views of the ocean or mountains, all surrounded by natural architecture that embraces the dramatic majesty of the coast and the neighbouring redwoods. Every accommodation has a free minibar, a private veranda, and a wood-burning fireplace. Take pleasure in things like yoga in the morning, restorative spa services, swimming in the pools with views of the ocean, hiking, and stargazing at night. Seasonal organic food is served at the renowned Sierra Mar restaurant.
4. WALDORF ASTORIA LAS VEGAS
The Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas offers an extraordinary experience in an exceptional city. The hotel, which is housed in a 47-story structure in the heart of The Strip, provides opulence, grandeur, and True Waldorf Service in a non-gaming setting, just a short distance from the city’s famous eating, entertainment, and shopping options. The Sky Lobby, located on the 23rd level, is a stunning entrance to a sophisticated bar, fine dining and understated elegance. The 389 rooms and suites have contemporary décor with modest Asian-inspired accents and are quite comfortable. With views from the floor-to-ceiling windows, the bathrooms are breathtaking. A large spa offers personalised wellness services on two guest levels, and exciting dining options include Skybar, which serves handmade cocktails 23 stories above the Strip, and the famous Tea Lounge, which serves traditional English tea.
5. BIG ISLAND, HAWAII’S FOUR SEASONS RESORT HUALALAI
This stunning beachside resort, which is situated on the exclusive Kona-Kohala Coast of the Big Island, embodies Hawaiian style, culture, and tradition and is often ranked among the most popular honeymoon destinations. The large, outdoor living areas and island-inspired décor are complemented by an unparalleled collection of native Hawaiian art. The resort, which blends history, culture, pure pampering, and sincere aloha to everyone that comes its way, is built into its natural surroundings. In addition to championship golf, a top-notch spa and fitness centre, tennis, on-site ocean activities, retail shops, seven pools, cultural events, and award-winning restaurants, the resort has 252 exquisite rooms and suites. There are chances to make enduring memories because of the contrast between the turquoise waters, white sand beaches, and tall coconut palms and the old black lava rock.
6. Wyoming’s Brush Creek Ranch
Located on a working cattle ranch in the centre of Wyoming’s renowned Platte River Valley, between the breathtaking Medicine Bow National Forest and the Sierra Madre Mountain range, Brush Creek Ranch is widely regarded as one of the top luxury hotels in the United States. The property provides a unique all-inclusive luxury ranch resort that is perfect for affluent tourists, daring explorers, business group retreats, family luxury dude ranch holidays, and magnificent ranch destination weddings. Beyond its front gates are 30,000 pristine acres where you may hike Medicine Bow Peak, fly-fishing, driving cattle, and riding trails to regain a feeling of freedom. 42 opulent, timber-framed rooms with open-hearth fires and opulent facilities are available for guests. Families may stay in the luxurious Magee Homestead, which is only available to people 21 years of age and older, or stretch out in restored 19th-century log cabins with patios, complete kitchens, and vast vistas.
7. The Four Seasons Hotel at Miami’s Surf Club
The Surf Club in Miami has hosted history since it initially opened on New Year’s Eve 1930. Harvey Firestone, a tire billionaire, could never have predicted how lasting the attraction of what he would eventually build would be when he first got the idea for a new kind of social club on board his yacht, the Marybelle. The Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club, which is situated on the same 9-acre (3.6-hectare) stretch of oceanfront in Surfside, Florida, on Miami’s northern beaches, has 77 guest rooms, a variety of hotel residences, Le Sirenuse Restaurant and Champagne Bar, three pools, a spotless beach and a spa and wellness centre. The three structures that surround and flank the old clubhouse were created by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Richard Meier.
8. WYOMING, AMANGANI
Amangani is a favourite of skiers and other outdoor enthusiasts, bringing extraordinary elegance and grandeur to the untamed surroundings of Jackson Hole. It recalls the spirit of the American West. The resort is a vision in sandstone columns and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Teton Mountains, blending in well with its Wild West surrounds. Amangani, which is run by Aman, one of the most upscale hotel brands in the world, is thoughtfully created with Wyoming-native materials like redwood walls and woven cowhide seats. King-sized beds, fireplaces, daybeds, and patios with breathtaking views of the mountains are all features of the roomy suites. Spending money close to the wildness of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park is ideal; hiking and fly-fishing are available in the spring and summer, while skiing is abundant in the winter.
9. AMAN NEW YORK
Since 1921, the Crown Building on Fifth Avenue, which dominates Manhattan’s midway and looks out over Central Park, has been one of the most costly and sought-after city blocks in the world. The new Aman New York Hotel, which opened in 2022, currently occupies the seventh through fourteenth floors of the building. The fifteenth level and above have been converted into 22 Aman-branded apartments, including a five-story, almost 14,000-square-foot penthouse that costs more than $100 million USD. The new Aman has an amazing Aman Spa, the focal point of which is a striking indoor swimming pool encircled by daybeds and fire pits. With a double treatment room, sauna, and steam rooms, as well as an outside patio with a cabana, daybed, and fireplace, Two Spa Houses provide visitors a comprehensive spa experience.
10. AMANGIRI, UTAH
Amangiri, which means “peaceful mountain,” is situated in the Grand Circle area of the United States and overlooks breathtakingly stunning desert landscape as well as the famous flat-topped mesa rock formations of the Southwest. The resort, which is also run by Aman, is surrounded by five national parks, a number of national monuments, and the Navajo Nation reserve, the biggest Native American reserve in the United States. The hotel, which is surrounded by a central swimming pool with a breathtaking outlook, has a lot of Instagram potential to wow your friends and motivate your followers thanks to its simple décor and the surrounding untamed terrain. The resort’s main pavilion is flanked by two graceful wings that house Amangiri’s 34 rooms. King-size beds, private courtyard entrances, fireplaces, and private patios are features of every suite; some even have their own swimming pools. Amangiri also has Camp Sarika, a posh “glamping” destination next to the main resort.
